Re Swing Into Christmas charity CD.

I have waited until tonight to ‘test-drive’ the new CD collected at Sunday nights Swing Into
    Christmas concert.

Having listened and enjoyed the new orchestrations on the CD it is both good and engrossing.

    Well done all of you!

Thanks to all for the splendid performance at the Royal Norfolk Show Ball on Friday 27th June. It was a fab evening and raised £32,000 for Big C,Norfolk & Waveneey's Cancer Charity. I am sure that all the guests enjoyed the music - the dance floor was always full.

Hi saw you at Hardwick Hangar dance on Saturday 16th July and thought you were absolutely fantastic. The sign of a brilliant band is when nobody leaves the dance floor empty and nobody did!

Surprised! Well I wonder why, going to the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday night, I should have
    been.
At the advanced age of 47 yoa, er! - (perhaps that number is reversed)I thought, well,
compared to Herb Miller or the Sid Lawrence touring big bands it might be alright.
    Alright!

The player comparison in terms of individuality and quality helped to produce a Band
performance of real integrity and invoked memories of decades back.

    What a night along with the enthusiastic audience, who seemed to know something I didn't;
many of their number had heard the Wyatt Big Band before, obviously.
What cohesion, drive and sheer class.

The soloists from each section of the Band commanded attention, the male vocalist was first
class and fitted in perfectly with the likes of his predecessors - as I remember them.

The Moon Glow Sister's on stage in front of an audience for only the second time just got better
and better as the night progressed. Their performance was nothing but exceptional.

Johnny Wyatt was himself, personable and connected with the audience with enthusiasm.

Where will I be in October for their return to the Pavilion Theatre Gorleston - on stage, of
course, playing the mouth organ with the band - all good big bands of the 40's, 50's and 60's
    had one you know!

    Well done indeed!

    The Jonathan Wyatt Big Band.

    Best Wishes Colin.

Jonathan and The Band - your music made our Diamond Anniversary Ball extra special. You had our guests up and dancing all evening, no-one wanted the evening to end and we have had some fantastic comments since on how much everyone enjoyed themselves and were absolutely bowled over by the professionalism of the Band and the quality of the music.
Thank you for helping us to celebrate the Wymondham College 60th Anniversary in such magnificent style.

Hello Jonathan & Band/Singers thanks for a fantastic night of music & dancing on Saturday night in Wymondham at the Central Hall with the Old Codgers Jazz Band. Everybody was saying how great it was and helping us The Wymondham Helicopter Group in raising monies for The East Anglian Air Ambulance. See you next year Saturday 28th April 2012 for another brillant evening.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Jonathan,

We enjoyed your Valentine concert at the Ramada last evening, and very impressed with the debut of the Moonglow Sisters. The Andrew Sisters live again! Also Angus on piano an exceptional talent for one so young.

Now in my 80s, we are life long big band fans, (my wife worked for Jack Hylton way back), your music brings back my teenage years during the war years and subsequent RAF Hangar dances with the Squadronaires and other big bands. More strength to your elbow, this music will outlast current forgettable "pop".

    Hi..Jonathan

Stumbled onto your great sound via You Tube playing..!!! When Your Smiling.!!!!!..great sound you guys put out.. I"m an old guy brought up on the big band sound of many years ago Thats the only music that was played anywhere you went dancing (apart from a quartet ) .loved the piano players reaction to something that went on behind him during the playing of this tune... think it was the drummer that caused him to laugh...just keep playing my kind of music...will look out for you guys when you play a gig nearer to where i live....Great Sound
